Height Selection
If a kayak cradle is used, generally the curvature of the hull will allow the kayaks to clear the cab with the 18 inch height. If not using a cradle, the 22 inch height is always recommended. The Best Powder Coating in the Industry:
Prior to coating, our steel bed rack components are sandblasted to achieve a surface profile that paint can really stick to. After sandblasting, they are sprayed with a zinc-rich primer, then they are powder coated, and finally they are cured in a 400° oven. The curing process formulates a protective skin and promotes adhesion of the coating.
