The Aluminum VRS Truck Kayak Rack is a lightweight truck bed kayak rack designed to carry kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards above the bed of your pickup. Constructed from aluminum for reduced weight and excellent corrosion resistance, it provides the strength and versatility of a full-size truck bed rack without unnecessary weight.
Available in 18" and 22" heights and 58" and 70" lengths, the Aluminum VRS can be configured for different trucks, bed lengths, and cargo-carrying needs.

Although optimized for carrying kayaks, the Aluminum VRS is a versatile truck bed rack that can also carry canoes, paddleboards, lumber, ladders, rooftop tents, and other oversized cargo.

Choosing the Right Kayak Rack Height
Choosing the correct rack height depends partly on how your kayak will be carried.
When using a kayak cradle, the curvature of the kayak hull will generally provide enough clearance for the kayak to pass over the truck cab with the 18" rack height.
If you plan to carry the kayak directly on the crossbars without a cradle, we recommend the 22" rack height for additional cab clearance.

The Aluminum VRS is available in both 58" and 70" lengths, allowing you to choose the rack length that best suits your truck bed and how you intend to carry your equipment.

Tonneau Cover Compatibility
The Aluminum VRS is designed to work with many popular tonneau covers while allowing you to carry kayaks and other equipment above the truck bed.
