The Aluminum VRS Truck Kayak Rack is a lightweight, heavy-duty truck bed rack designed for carrying kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, rooftop tents, ladders, lumber, and other oversized gear above the truck bed.
This version is specifically designed for tonneau covers with integrated accessory tracks, allowing the rack to mount directly to the tonneau cover's tracks while maintaining access to the covered truck bed. No separate tonneau rack adapters are required.
Compatible with many popular integrated-track tonneau covers, including Retrax, EGR RollTrac, BAKFlip MX4 TS, BAK Revolver X4 TS, Pace Edwards, and TruXedo Pro X15 TS.

Choosing the Correct Rack Height
The Aluminum VRS Kayak Rack is available in 18" and 22" heights.
When using a kayak cradle, the curvature of the kayak hull will generally provide enough clearance for the kayak to clear the truck cab with the 18" rack.
If you plan to carry the kayak directly on the crossbars without a cradle, we recommend the 22" height for additional cab clearance.

Lightweight Aluminum Construction
At approximately 45 lbs, this aluminum VRS rack provides the strength and carrying capacity of a full-size truck bed rack while remaining significantly easier to install and remove than a comparable steel rack.
Aluminum construction also provides excellent corrosion resistance, making this rack especially well suited for kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and other watersports equipment.
Built for Integrated-Track Tonneau Covers
This version of the VRS Kayak Rack is specifically designed for tonneau covers equipped with integrated accessory tracks.
The rack mounts to the tonneau cover's tracks rather than requiring conventional truck-bed mounting brackets or separate tonneau rack adapters. This allows you to carry kayaks and other gear above the bed while maintaining the security and weather protection provided by your tonneau cover.
