The Lo-Rise PRO-XE sits directly on the truck bed rails for the lowest possible profile and is designed for trucks without tonneau covers. The 5-inch PRO-XE provides a low-profile mounting position above the bed rails, while the 8-inch version provides additional clearance between the truck bed and your cargo.

Are PRO-XE crossbars compatible with tonneau covers?

Many PRO-XE configurations are designed to work with popular tonneau covers. Compatibility depends on the specific cover and truck. A dedicated 5-inch PRO-XE version is also available for tonneau covers with integrated T-tracks, including compatible Retrax XR, Pace Edwards UltraGroove, Roll-N-Lock XT, and similar systems. The Lo-Rise PRO-XE is not designed for use with tonneau covers.

Yes. PRO-XE crossbars are suitable for rooftop tents when properly installed and used within their rated capacity. The standard 5-inch and 8-inch PRO-XE systems are rated for 300 pounds dynamic and 800 pounds static, evenly distributed across a two-crossbar system.
